Dr. Mohan Nair

Dr Mohan Nair's area of special interest have been interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. Work experience in interventional cardiology includes over 5000 coronary angioplasty procedures and 300 balloon mitral valvuloplasties. Experience in Electrophysiology includes nearly 3500 diagnostic EP procedures and 2500 radiofrequency catheter ablations. This places me amongst the top 10 interventional cardiologists in India and ranks me as one of the leading electrophysiologists of South Asia. Research activities have lead to more than 100 publications and paper presentations at the national as well as international level. In addition, He have been involved in setting up of EP programs in various hospitals and institutions in India, China and Sri Lanka. They include: Apollo Hospitals, Chennai; Nizam’s Institute, Hyderabad, JIPMER, Pondicherry, Sri Chitra Institute, Trivandrum and several others. He have been on the faculty of almost all major national and International EP meetings in the past 5 years. He also have been on the faculty of live physician education program on Angioplasty and Electrophysiology in France, Sri Lanka and in China. He have been in the forefront of Pacing and Defibrillator therapy in India and currently designated proctor for Atrio Biventricular Pacing in this country.
