Niddhi

Mumbai

This is the story of Niddhi, who started feeling something abnormal with her while she was going through her board exams for the 10th class. One night she had severe pain in her stomach that was going uncontrollable. Seeing that all were sleeping at that moment, Niddhi tried to go to sleep and have some rest. A few hours later, she slept with the pain and the pain disappeared in the morning. She talked about the same with her mother and received the answer that it was her last board exam so they will go to the doctor after the exam.

How did Niddhi receive help?

  • Niddhi’s parents became concerned about Niddhi’s health. They went to the general practitioner and asked for the reason for stomach pain. The doctor told Niddhi to take care of her underweight issues and drink some milk so that she could manage her health. Also, the doctor said that it could be a sign of menstrual age.

  • Niddhi went back home with some advice and a few medicines in her hand. But, her health issues did not sort out at this point.

  • It started hurting a lot in her stomach after a few days. Because of the stomach pain, she avoided having night dinner and had the medicines that the doctor gave to her.

  • Becoming concerned about their daughter’s health, this time the parents went to Fortis Hiranandani Hospital. Seeing the physical growth, the doctor of Fortis Hiranandani Hospital also suggested Niddhi have a better diet so that she could take care of her underweight issues.

  • After a few days, Niddhi again had stomach pain which made her go through convulsions. This time, Niddhi was admitted to the Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, where she received all her tests including a CT scan, MRI, blood tests, and a few other physical examinations.

  • Niddhi, who was 15 years old at the moment, was told that she was going through kidney stones, which was the primary reason behind her declining health.

The parents were suggested to have immediate surgery with the child so that she could get free from daily stomach pain. Although Niddhi received every sort of help from the doctors and her parents, she became conscious of her health. She made it her habit to have lemonade in her water bottle all the time while going to school. Over the past 20 years, kidney stones have become a prevalent disease, affecting teens and premature children. It becomes stressful when it doesn't come out in natural ways.

Renu Bajpayee

Mumbai

This is the story of Renu Bajpayee, who is around 30 years old and is severely affected by back pain. Although she can walk and stand, she cannot perform any of the immediate activities while standing and sitting for hours. She often gets accompanied by a caretaker who helps her stand, sit and do everything starting from waking up in the morning to going to bed at night. Because of a lack of knowledge and thinking that she was receiving the best therapy, she had to have the support of her caretaker all the time. Once going through the ads of Credihealth, she came to know that the platform helps with every sort of requirement.

How did Renu receive help?

  • Through the medium of Credihealth, Renu came in contact with Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, where she had her appointment fixed with one of the top orthopedic doctors.

  • After having been diagnosed, Renu came to know that she had developed severe weakness in her back. Due to the delicate bones and weakness in her nerves, she had to take help from her caretaker.

  • After having a few tests, the doctors came to know that Renu was going through one of the severe back issues called spinal stenosis. It is one of the spine issues that pinches the sciatic nerve, causing sharp, stabbing pain.

  • After consulting a team of orthopedic doctors, dieticians, and a general surgeon, the team concluded that they will perform a lumbar laminectomy, a type of decompression surgery that relieves pressure on the spinal cord.

Receiving the acknowledgment of technical words from the side of the doctors, Renu got confused and asked for simple help from the doctors. The doctors of Fortis Hiranandani Hospital being cooperative, helped Renu make her understand the terms. They helped Renu understand every procedure so that she doesn't remain in doubt in the end. After a month of consultation and receiving the best diet along with proper medication, Renu became capable of the surgery. Now she comes to the hospital without any help from her caretaker while thanking her doctors.
