How did Shweta receive help?
Shweta, who was looking for a reliable place to take care of her medical condition, came across the platform called Credihealth. She received an online consultation with the best doctor at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
After she got comfortable and started seeking consultation with the doctor, she visited the hospital, where she had all major tests including an oxygen test, MRI, CT scan, EEG, and ECG.
After waiting for a day, she received her reports and got to know that she was going through hepatopulmonary syndrome, a rare disease that is associated with rare liver disease and causes a shortage of blood oxygen reaching the lungs.
Although finance was not an issue for Shweta, who was only 28 at the time and was unmarried living independently without her family, she spent all her spending on having the treatment. It took her more than 50 lacs to have her treatment and she spent all of her lifetime earning into it.
On the other hand, Shweta had to wait for nearly two years to get herself a new liver and a liver donor. She received a call one evening saying that the donor is ready to have the transplant.
