Ms Vedika Reddy

Thirty-one old Vedika Reddy from Telangana was diagnosed with kidney stones. She was in a critical state and needed immediate surgical intervention. But, the patient's financial conditions weren’t that good for accessing the expense of this surgery.

Her father contacted Credihealth to get the hospital’s recommendations for surgery for Kidney stones in Telangana.

Value Added (Care is still within everyone's reach) :

· The medical expert jotted down the complete medical history of the patient for staying updated with the patient’s health condition. They also wanted to calculate the entire expense for the same.

· The medical expert discussed with the patient’s father and the hospital’s management their financial problem. This coordination helped Mr. Reddy in arranging a cost-friendly kidney stones surgery as a special case. They were directed towards KIMS Hospital Kondapur for ensuring the best treatment.

· Our medical expert talked with the manager of this top hospital in Telangana for the patient’s admission. After the completion of the admission procedure, the patient had to go through multiple diagnostic tests before surgical intervention.

Here, Credihealth is in constant touch with the patient's father with the latest updates and necessary counseling to help during this phase.

Vedika Reddy is now recovering very fast. Her father is extremely thankful to Credihealth's team for the services and guidance provided at every step at the critical time to make Kidney stone surgery happen successfully.

Mr Rick Thomas

Rick Thomas is 39 years old and has remained a patient with pericarditis for around three years in the past. Once, when going back to the house from the office, he felt arm pain. But he was having plans to help his brother-in-law, so he worked little with him and adjusted the furniture for him. Rick felt pain in his arm, which he felt would be fine after he would take a rest. In the morning, Rick started having severe pain in his chest. It was the day of his anniversary when he was thought to have remained with his wife the whole day. But his health did not allow him to do so. The ambulance was called and Rick was admitted to the nearby KIMS Hospital Kondapur.

How did Rick receive help?

  • The doctors had an ECG for the chest discomfort of Rick. First, it did not give any chance of mishap with the chest and Rick went to normal.

  • After some time, Rick started having convulsions in the wake of pain and chest discomfort. During that time, the doctor had another ECG, which showed the abnormal symptoms.

  • The ECG showed that Rick was in cardiac arrest. His heart was going through ventricular fibrillation, which means that his heart was neither pumping blood to other body parts nor having proper rhythm.

  • The doctors were horrified to see how Rick was surviving. Assessing the situation, the cardiologist of KIMS Hospital Kondapur demanded a balloon pump.

  • A balloon pump helps to take off the pressure from the heart and helps a heart to pump easily flowing blood to other body parts.

  • The doctors first inserted a catheter making the small incision through the heart and attaching the heart with a balloon pump.

After having some support for the heart and reducing the discomfort in the chest, the doctors performed angioplasty on the blocked artery and placed a stent in it.

The next concern of the doctors was that the fewer flow of blood should not have caused brain damage. But, it all did not happen. Rick was lucky to receive timely help.
