The link between oxygen and cancer is clear. In fact, an underlying cause of cancer is usually low cellular oxygenation levels. In newly formed cells, low levels of oxygen damage respiration enzymes so that the cells cannot produce energy using oxygen. These cells can then turn cancerous because ....
The risk is so low that it is impossible to read using tables of published health data and statistics. Children do get cancer, but very rarely breast cancer. First of all, breast cancer isn't a death sentence: overall, about 60% of women survive breast cancer, and go on to live long and healthy lives. The percentage can be as high as 99%, depending on the particular type and stage of breast cancer.
Stage 1, 2, 3 is easily curable by surgery followed by preceding chemotherapy or radiotherapy. If breast cancer is found before it has spread outside of the breast and adjacent lymph nodes, the large majority of women in developed countries will die from causes not related to breast cancer. The earlier the cancer is found, the lower the stage, the higher the survival rates.
So, what’s the treatment? In simple words:
1. The treatment depends on the stage of cancer, the size of the tumour and how far it is spread within the body.
2. The type of breast cancer patient is diagnosed with.
3. Treatment may consist of chemotherapy, radiation, hormone therapy and surgery depending on the condition of the patient.
