Dr Vijay Chandra is a Senior Consultant in the department of Neurology at Paras Hospital Gurgaon. He did MBBS from the coveted All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi. Dr Vijay Chandra has a rich and varied experience of over 35 years out of which he spent over a decade in the USA studying and teaching at University of Illinois, Johns Hopkins University and National Institutes of Health. Dr Vijay Chandra has also been a Regional Advisor for Mental Health at World Health Organization (WHO) during which he developed and improved clinical services for mental and neurological disorders and substance abuse in 11 countries of South-East Asia. He was awarded the “Princess Mental Health Award” by Her Royal Highness, Princess Galyani Vadhana (Princess of Thailand) for creating effective mental health services in South-East Asia.
