Dr. Kher's research interests comprise kidney transplantation (clinical immunosuppression, pre-emptive kidney transplantation & steroid-free immunosuppression, cost-containment), progression of renal disease, acute kidney injury and glomerulonephritis. He is DM (Nephrology) from PGIMER in Chandigarh, MNAMS (Nephrology) in National Board of Examinations, India; and a Clinical Fellow of Nephrology & Transplantation at the University of Cincinnati, Medical Centre in Ohio (U.S.A.).
