Mahima
Gurugram
Mahima is around 28 years old and is pregnant with her first child. Everything was going normal until she came to know that her soon-to-be newborn child was diagnosed in-utero with a bladder obstruction. The doctors still wanted to be sure of the disease and still wanted to confirm the same after the birth of the child. It was one of the difficult times for the parents as they had to go through a financial crisis because of the illness of their newborn and on the other hand, they had to suffer because of the illness seven after knowing that they had become parents. The parents started asking for donations so that their child could have the best of his life and can survive after birth. The parents, who were already in contact with Credihealth, came in contact with Cloudnine Clinic Gurugram, where they had booked their child with a seat in NCU.
For the first six months, the baby had to live in the hospital under the observation of doctors, nurses, and other professional specialists.
After six months, the baby had to go through a long procedure of peritoneal dialysis that would take around 8 hours of the day and a visit of nurses in the house.
Seeing the activeness of the nurses and the hard work they had done for the safety and security of the child, the parents became overwhelmed, they even thanked the nurses for their efforts.
Now, the primary concern for the child was the transplant of a kidney so that the newborn could survive.
Seeing the severity of the case, the doctors of Cloudnine Clinic Gurugram had the kidney of the father fitted into the child’s body. Today, the child is around 5 years old and surviving with the best facilities his parents could give him.
