Dr. Abhishek Yadav is an experienced gastrointestinal, transplantation, and liver disease specialist who directs the Comprehensive Liver Care (Surgery) Institute at VPS Lakeshore Hospital, Kochi. Dr. Abhishek Yadav has more than 10 years of experience in liver surgeries, liver transplantation, and treating patients with complex liver and gastrointestinal tract conditions. Dr. Abhishek Yadav is an expert in surgical gastroenterology with an area of interest in surgeries and transplantation. He is involved in studies of chronic pancreatitis, repair of bile duct transection, hepatectomy, partial hepatectomy, liver transplantation, and surgery. He worked as a consultant in the unit of liver transplantation previously at Apollo hospital, New Delhi. He played an important role in setting up liver transplant programs at various medical centers in India and also in Pakistan and Karachi. He is a life member of Indian Medical Association, Association of Surgeons of India, International Hepato Pancreato Biliary Association, and International Liver Transplant Society. His qualifications are MBBS, M.S in general surgery, and M.Ch in surgical gastroenterology. He also has a fellowship in HPB surgery and liver transplantation.
