Dr. Ajaya Kashyap

The Director of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Ajaya Kashyap has over 33 years of experience in his field. With degrees of MBBS & MD, he completed his Surgical Residency at the Robert Packer Hospital (Guthrie Clinic), Sayre, Pennsylvania, and the Surgical Research at UCLA. He was later bestowed with the fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. With an extensive work experience, both in India and abroad, Dr. Kashyap has been associated with several renowned medical institutions. He has been affiliated with the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi as a Senior Cosmetic Consultant, and during his stay in the USA, he worked with the Metrowest Medical Center, U-Mass-Memorial Marlborough Hospital, Leonard-Morse Hospital in Natick, the Nashoba Valley Medical Center. He was also the Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, the Medical Director of the Aesthetic Center at Metrowest, and the attending Plastic Surgeon at the Wound Clinic in Framingham, Massachusetts. With certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of General Surgery, Dr. Kashyap is Indias only double American Board certified Surgeon. An active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), and an ex-member of the Massachusetts Medical Society the American Medical Association, he has authored a number of publications, and has been actively involved in research work as well. With over 35 research papers to his credit, he has contributed a book chapter in the leading Plastic Surgery academic textbook - Plastic Surgery: Indications, Operations, Outcomes, Vol. 2, Mosby, Inc., 2000. Dr. Ajaya Kashyap has been widely quoted in various newspapers, magazines, and TV channels, including the internationally renowned Discovery Channel as well as the Boston Globe, Harvard News, Ayer Times, Times of India, Hindustan Times, CNBC, CNN, and CNN-IBN.
