Dr. Aparna Bhatnagar

Dr. Aparna Bhatnagar is a Senior Consultant - Ophthalmology in Billroth Hospitals, Shenoy Nagar. She completed her MBBS from Gandhi medical college, Barkat UllUniversityity in 1998 and later went on to pursue MS in ophthalmology from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College in 2002. After completing her studies in India, Dr. Bhatnagar underwent Research and Clinical Fellowship in Orbito-Facial Plastic Surgery from Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles in 2007. She has also contributed to Graves' Disease and thyroid related Orbitopathy Research. After her brief stint in the USA, she returned India and did further specialization in trauma, orbit, and oculoplasty from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Besides numerous successful treatment, she has a number of national and international publications to her credit along with numerous oral presentations and talks in national and international oculoplasty conferences as national and guest faculty. Dr. Bhatnagar's medical and surgical areas of interest include eyelid deformities including ptosis, pathologies of lacrimal system, orbit, tumors of eyelids and orbit, ocular surface disorders, facial aesthetics Cosmetic Surgery and dermal fillers, and socket reconstruction (artificial eye shell implantation).
