Dr. Ashwani Maichand is a preeminent name in the field of Orthopedics. With a vast experience of over 21 years, he was a Senior Consultant - Orthopedics and Spine Surgery Apollo Spectra Hospitals, Karol Bagh. MBBS from the Government Medical College, Rohtak, MS (Orthopedics) from the SMS Medical College, Jaipur, and MCh (Orthopedics) from the American Institute of Medicine of the University of Seychelles, he has a special expertise in Joint Replacement & Arthroscopic Surgery.  Dr. Ashwani Maichand was awarded the Fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery from the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and he has had the privilege of working with the masters of Joint Replacement & Arthroscopy in India & abroad. Prior to joining Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh he has worked with many reputed institutions. He was the Joint Replacement & Arthroscopic Surgeon at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Consultant Joint Replacement & Arthroscopy Surgeon at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Senior Resident at the Sita Ram Bhartia Institute, & the Moolchand Hospital, and a Consultant at the Parmarath Mission Hospital, Brahm Shakti Hospital, Sanjeevan Hospital, & the Jeewan Mala Hospital.  With a special interest in Minimal Access Orthopedic Surgery, including MIS Joint Replacement, Arthroscopic Surgery, Endoscopic Spine Surgery, and Limb Salvage Surgery, he has performed more than 6,000 Joint Replacement & Arthroscopic Surgeries till date.
