Dr. Ayan Basu

Dr Ayan Basu is a HOD and Senior Consultant in the Department of Radiation Oncology at HCG EKO Cancer Centre, Kolkata. He has a vast experience of over 13 years. Dr Ayan's areas of expertise includes brain tumors, lung cancer, head and neck cancers, prostate cancer and gynecological cancer.

He completed his MBBS and went on to pursue MD- Radiation Oncology from a well recognized institution in Orissa. Dr Ayan Basu has also been trained in Stereotactic Radio Surgery and IGRT & Respiratory Gating from Clatterbridge Center for Oncology, England and Rig's Hospital respectively. He has also served as the Head of Department of Radiation Oncology at various prestigious hospitals all over India, including The Mission Hospital, Durgapur; Health Care Global, Chennai and United Hospital, Dhaka. He is credited for starting state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology facilities at two of the largest comprehensive cancer centres in India and abroad.
