He completed his MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 1973. Dr. Bapuji N. Sawant later went on to pursue MD in General Medicine from the Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 1976.
