Dr. Charu Sharma is a Plastic Surgeon, Cosmetologist, and Hair Transplant Surgeon of national repute. S. With degrees of MBBS & MS (General Surgery) from the Banaras Hindu University, and MCh (Plastic Surgery) form the King Georges Medical University in Lucknow, Dr. Charu Sharma is an expert in performing various procedures, including Breast Augmentation, Follicular Hair Transplantation, Breast Reduction, Liposuction, Abdominoplasty, Face Lift, Rhinoplasty, and Laser Procedures. Prior to joining the Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Dr. Charu Sharma has worked with many prestigious institutions, including the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, KGMC, Plastic Surgery & Hair Transplant Clinic, Jamia Hamdard University, Apollo Millenium Hospital, Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute, and the Kalra Hospital. She is also the owner of a Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery Clinic in New Delhi called Gorgeous Looks which provides state-of-the-art advanced cosmetic surgery procedures. A member of the Indian Association of Plastic Surgeons and the Indian Association of Aesthetic Surgeons, Dr. Sharma has been bestowed with many awards. She was awarded the Rajdhani Ratna” in 2004, by Education Minister, Dr. Narendra Nath, for outstanding performance in the field of Plastic Surgery, the Mahila Gaurav Award presented by the Election Commissioner, Mr. J Krishnamurthy, in 2005, and Gold Medal for MCh (Plastic Surgery) at KGMC, Lucknow for the session 2001 by the then Honorable Prime Minister Mr. A. B. Vajpayee. She was the first Plastic Surgeon to be awarded the Mahila Gaurav Award and was the youngest achiever of the Manav Seva Samman in 2005, awarded on Doctor Day for outstanding achievements in Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery by Governor Dr. Bhishm Narayan Singh. Dr. Sharma has been widely quoted in various newspapers, magazines, & TV channels, and has multiple publications to her credit. Her notable research paper presentations include Research Thesis on & Arterio Venous Fistulae: Vascular access to patients with Chronic Renal Failure: A Clinical Radiologic Study, paper on Six Strand Technique for Tendon Repair” presented at APSICON Mehsana, Gujarat in 2001, and Research, Thesis on Restoration of Metacarpophalaneal Joint Function which was judged the best thesis for 2003 at KGMC, Lucknow.
