Dr. Deepak Kumar

A Consultant at the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Deepak Kumar has a rich experience of near a decade in his field. He is a reputed doctor and gives his patients his undivided attention. After completing his MBBS, he did his MD from TATA Memorial Hospital followed by 3 years of extensive training as a senior resident in the same institute. Prior to Fortis, Dr. Deepak Kumar has worked as an associate consultant and instrumental in setting the Department of Radiation Oncology at Sir HN Reliance foundation hospital. He was Selected for young scientist’s award session at Second European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO ) forum April 2013, Geneva. His area of interest consist of Chemo-radiation protocols in head and neck, breast, Gynaecological malignancies, Lymphomas and Paediatric tumors, Brachytherapy for Gynaecological malignancies and head and neck, high precision radiotherapy techniques like SRS/SBRT/VMAT and adaptive Radiotherapy and Gating for thoracic and GI malignancies.
