Dr. DK Mitra

Dr. D.K. Mitra is the head of Sitaram Bhartia's pediatric surgery department. His calm and confident demeanor coupled with his extensive experience as a pediatric surgeon creates supreme trust in parents. In 1966, he completed his MBBS from Ranchi University. After that, he completed his MS in general surgery at AIIMS, from where he also earned his MCH in pediatric surgery. He has performed numerous complex surgeries as a pediatric surgeon at Sitaram Bhartia Hospital, including hernia repairs, chest tube insertions, and intricate repairs on preterm infants weighing 800 gms (26–27 weeks).
