Dr. Girish Rajpal is a Consultant - Neuro Surgery Dr. Girish Rajpal is presently working as a Head – Neuro Interventional Surgery and Senior Consultant Neurosurgery Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Shalimar Bagh. He underwent training in Neurointerventional Surgery from France and Switzerland and gained expertise in surgical and endovascular treatment of Stroke, SAH, aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), cavernous malformations, and dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVFs) of the brain and spinal cord and utilizes the latest surgical and endovascular techniques to treat patients with carotid artery stenosis, acute stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), and moyamoya disease. Dr. Rajpal is also well-versed in the pre-operative embolization of tumors of the brain and spine.  Dr. Girish Rajpal is also an active member of the division of neurosurgical oncology and spine where he works to decrease blood flow to solid tumors before surgical resection.
