Dr. Jawahar Ticku is a Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology at the Rockland Hospital, Dwarka. His educational qualifications include an MBBS from the Indra Gandhi Medical College, Simla, and an MD in Oncology from the PGIMER, Chandigarh. He also has a Fellowship from TMH Mumbai. Being a dedicated medical professional, Dr. Ticku has undergone extensive training from CCST, UK. In his 34 years of medical practice, Dr. Jawahar Ticku has also worked as a Consultant Oncologist at the BensUP Hospital, Delji and also at the Bhagat Chandra Hospital, Delhi. His expertise lies in areas like cancer management, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, palliative therapy, blood diseases management, investigations for early detection of Cancer, treatment by conventional chemotherapy,planning for radiation therapy which may be oral, Parentral, intra arterial, intraperitoneal, Intravesical, intrathecal , hormonal management, also treatment by biologically modified drugs and supportive therapy by herbal medicines, and cancer counselling & guidance. His best achievement lies in using low dose chemotherapy in advanced stages of cancer and under staging the disease.
