Dr. Jayashree Jayakrishnan

Dr. Jayashree J is an eminent Lactation Consultant who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding.   She has been trained in the Mongan Method of Hypno Birth and officially certified as Hypno Birth Practitioner by HypnoBirthing Institute. She has added another feather to her cap by being the first person to get trained in Spinning Babies in Chennai.   Dr. Jayashree J is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant from IBLCE. She is the second IBCLC in Tamil Nadu following her chief and guru Dr. Padmini Balagopal. She also holds the privilege of being the first person in Chennai to be a certified DONA(International Doula of North America), Doula.   Nationally, Dr. Jayashree is a member of the Breastfeeding Promoting Network of India and actively promotes Natural Birth. She also spreads awareness about the organic diet, lifestyle and its health implications. By joining hands with Waterbirth International Founder, Barbara Harper, she has been setting out the waterbirth concept in Hospitals. She is the first person in Chennai to introduce the concept of the Aquanatal Session.
