Dr. M A Mir is Senior Consultant - Gastroenterology & GI Surgery. He is a postgraduate in Internal Medicine, MD physician, and holds a Ph.D. in Internal Medicine with specialisation in Gastroenterology. A well-known gastroenterologist and endoscopist, Dr. Mir has worked previously as Consultant, Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon, Consultant Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute (PSRI) for Liver, Renal & Digestive Diseases,New Delhi, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, and Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar, J&K. Dr. Mir is a fellow of American College of Gastroenterology. His specialization include all forms of gastrointestinal procedures like diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopies, metallic stenting of oesophageal, duodenal and enteral strictures, foreign body removal from GI tract, PEG tube placements, endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic band ligation/sclerotherapy, and liver biopsies. Before joining at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon he was associated with Rockland Group of Hospitals.
