Dr. M Ahmed

Dr. M. Ahmed is a Gastroenterologist with over 12 years of experience in the field. He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata, and then went on to pursue his MD in Internal Medicine from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. After completing his MD, he further specialized in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and completed his DM in Gastroenterology from the same institute. Dr. Ahmed has expertise in the diagnosis and management of various gastrointestinal disorders, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic liver diseases, and pancreatic disorders. He is also trained in various diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP. Apart from his clinical practice, Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in academic and research activities. He has several publications in national and international journals and has also presented papers at various conferences and symposiums. He is a member of various medical associations and societies, including the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) and the Indian Association of Study of Liver (IASL).
