Dr. M Shantharam Shetty

Dr. M. Shantharam Shetty is an Orthopedist with over 30 years of experience. He completed his MBBS and MS (Orthopaedics) from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. He then completed a Fellowship in Orthopedics from Birmingham Children's Hospital in the UK. Dr. Shetty is an expert in the management of fractures, dislocations, sports injuries, arthritis, and degenerative disorders. He has a special interest in joint replacement surgeries, including hip and knee replacements. He also performs arthroscopic surgeries for various joint disorders. Apart from his clinical work, Dr. Shetty is actively involved in teaching and research. He has presented several papers at national and international conferences and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of various professional bodies, including the Indian Orthopedic Association and the Karnataka Orthopedic Association. Dr. Shetty is currently practicing at the Shantharam Shetty Orthopedic Centre in Mangalore, India.
