Dr. Mukesh Goel

Dr. Mukesh Goel is a well recognized and esteemed name in the list of Top Cardiologists of India. He is currently working as Sr. Consultant in Cardiovascular Surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar. He has completed MBBS and MS in General Surgery from PT. B D Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak (Haryana) in 1992  and 1997 respectively. He pursued M.Ch Cardio Thoracic Surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in 2001. He has undergone 3 year training in cardiovascular surgery at AIIMS & GB Pant Hospital, Delhi under the guidance of Dr. Naresh Tehran. He has a total experience of close to two decades and he has expertise in Adult Heart Surgery, CABG- Beating Heart & On Pump, Valve surgery-Repair & Replacement, Valve surgery with mini incisions, Aortic Surgery, Bentall’s operation, Aortofemoral bypass graft, Aortic Aneurysm -Surgery, Vascular surgery, Carotid endarterectomy, Fem pop bypass. He has been successful in operating above thousands of bypass surgeries and open heart surgical procedures. He was also associated as a consultant with Escorts Heart Institute and Research Center, Delhi; Apollo Hospital Delhi and Medanta Medicity, Gurgaon. He has also completed a training course in minimally-invasive valve surgery from France along with further skill enhancement from USA. Dr. Goel has also published research papers in global journals. In fact, he was supremely successful in starting and running a novel heart surgery center in a remote city like Bhatinda, handling severe cardiac cases with zero death rates. This served as an accolade to his excellence in clinical and surgical expertise. He was actively involved in the setting up of cardiac surgery at Medanta Institute, Gurgaon. He founded & established department of cardiovascular surgery at Asian institute of medical sciences at Faridabad operating more than 1500 patients.
