Dr. Niraj Sharad Kasat

Dr. Niraj Sharad Kasat is a trained Orthopedic Joint Replacement Surgeon. He is specialised in invasive and computer-assisted knee and hip Replacement surgery. He joined Tan Tock Seng hospital in Singapore for adult reconstruction fellowship. Thereafter, he chooses to work at Changi general hospital. Dr. Niraj worked in Singapore for around 3 years. Dr. Niraj was honored with the best doctor award in the same hospital. He is adept in managing orthopedic trauma involving pelvic-acetabulum fractures, polytrauma, open fractures, periprosthetic fractures, and osteoporotic fractures. Dr. Kasat is well-trained in invasive plate osteosynthesis for periarticular fractures and Ilizarov method. These techniques are used for infected non-union and limb lengthening cases. Nowadays, Dr, Niraj is working with Wockhardt Hospitals- Mira Road as a chief Joint Replacement Surgeon. He had also worked for Changi General Hospital- Singapore and Bandra Bhabha Municipal Corporation Hospital. His areas of interest are Spine, Trauma, and Hip knee joint replacement. Dr. Niraj completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Sir Grant Medical College and JJ Group Of Hospitals, Mumbai. Then he pursued Masters in Orthopaedics from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Municipal Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Niraj was dignified with various awards throughout his journey. He has had many of his research and papers published in national and international publications.
