Dr. Nripen Saikia

Dr. Nripen Saikia is working as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute and he can also be consulted at the Saket City Hospital and at his private clinic in Saket. He completed MBBS From Assam Medical College Dibrugarh and MD in Medicine From AIIMS New Delhi following which he went on to pursue Dnb in Medical Gastroenterology From National Board of Examinations New Delhi. With 11 Years of Experience in this Field, Dr. Nripen Saikia brings with himself an expertise in Hepatology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Liver Diseases, and Therapeutic Endoscopy. After gaining his academic excellence, Dr. Saikia was appointed as a Senior Registrar in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, from June 2002 to July 2004. Later in 2007, he joined the Department of Medical Gastroenterology at Sanjivani Hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam as a Consultant following which he got associated with PSRI as a Senior Consultant, Medical Gastroenterology. Dr. Nripen Saikia has expertise in performing all the diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic, colonoscopic and ERCP procedures, managing GI and hepatology emergencies, and critical care patients admitted under his care.  Apart from his involvement in clinical area, Dr. Nripen Saikia has contributed to various publications and papers; has published research-based papers, case reports, and reviews in several prominent peer-reviewed journals.
