Dr. P K Hazra is a Director of Interventional Cardiology unit Manipal Hospitals, Dhakuria and Ruby General Hospital, Kolkata. He has more than 25 years of experience in his medical profession. He specializes in Pacemaker Surgery, Coronary Angioplasty, and Coronary Angiography. Dr. P K Hazra completed MBBS from Calcutta Medical College, MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMER - Chandigarh, DNB & DM in Cardiology. Further, he has undertaken fellowship of the American College of Cardiology, USA. Dr. P K Hazra has several awards and achievements to his credit. One of the achievements is an installation of an artificial heart in a man. It is recorded as the first case in Kolkata and second across the country. Another case of installing a Pacemaker in a 7-year-old boy from Manipur. He has also won ‘Certificate of Honours’ in Ophthalmology Gold Medal Examination.
