Dr. Prakash K.C. is a Consultant Nephrologist at Apollo Hospital Greams Road Chennai. He has 36 years of clinical and surgical experience in the field of Nephrology. He specializes in Hemodialysis, Ureteroscopy (URS), Renal (Kidney) Surgery and Nephrectomy. Dr. Prakash K.C. has studied MBBS from M.P. Shah Medical College Gujarat in 1978 followed by MD in General Medicine from M.P. Shah Medical College Gujarat in 1982. Further, he has pursued DNB in Nephrology from National Board of Examinations New Delhi. He is an active member of various organizations including Association of Physicians of India, Indian Society of Nephrology and Peritoneal Dialysis society of India. He was a Secretary of Peritoneal Dialysis society of India in 1999 and President of Peritoneal Dialysis society of India in 2008. Dr. Prakash K.C. has won ‘Young Investigator Award’ by Japanese Society of Nephrology in 1993.
