Dr. Praveen Kumar Bansal is a highly appreciated and renowned oncologist in India. Presently, he is rendering his services as Director - Medical Oncology department at Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Faridabad, Haryana for last 3 years. A gold medalist in his MD degree, Dr. Bansal started his career as Senior Resident in Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Delhi where he worked from Oct. 1999 to Feb. 2001. Subsequently, he completed his DM (Oncology) at Cancer Institute (W.I.A), Adyar in Chennai, Tamil Nadu for a period of 3 years from 2001 to 2004; before moving on to join as a Consultant at The Dharamshila Cancer Hospital & Research Center, New Delhi for about 5 years from Sep 2004 to Dec 2009, Dr. Bansal also served as Senior Consultant in Medanta (The Medicity), Gurgaon for about 7 months i.e. from Jan 2010 to June 2010. With a total experience of about 14 years; he has been serving society with full loyalty and hard work. He has conducted about ten medical research studies of national and international interest. His area of expertise includes Lung Cancer, Hematology and solid tumors in pediatric and adults. He also specializes in Bone Marrow Transplantation including both allogenic as well as autologous.
