Dr. Raju P Khubchandani

The Director of the Department of Pediatrics at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. Dr. Raju P Khubchandani has over 3 decades of experience in his field. He has completed M.D (Pediatrics) from Mumbai University in 1981 and widely recognized as one of the pioneers in the field of pediatric rheumatology in India. Dr. Raju P Khubchandani's area of interest lies in treating children with juvenile arthritis, lupus, dermatomyositis vasculitis and other muscle, bone, and joint diseases. He has cared for over two thousand children with musculoskeletal diseases.Dr. Raju P Khubchandani has treated several babies and children suffering from diseases in India and gives every patient the best of medical care.  Dr. Khubchandani also maintains a special interest in childhood asthma and respiratory diseases such as cystic fibrosis. Dr. Khubchandani has several orations and awards at national and state level in his bag and also contributed to the society as an Invited speaker and teacher at international, national and state conferences and seminars. Besides practicing at Jaslok Hospitals, he also serves as an advisor and managing committee member to a new children’s hospital project in Mumbai and some other social initiatives.
