Dr. Ramesh Bishnoi is considered to be among the top Oncologist of India. He is working at Primus Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi. In his 7 years of experience he has worked with some of the country’s top hospitals like All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, Balaji Action Cancer Hospital, New Delhi, Dr. BRA Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital, Delhi and B L Kapur Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi to name a few. He completed his MBBS degree from University College of Medical Sciences (New Delhi) in 2000 and then did MS in General Surgery from Lady Hardinge Medical College in 2005. He has undertaken training in Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) from Cedar Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, California under the guidance of renowned Prof Robert McKenna and training in Robotic Thoracic Surgeries (RTS) from University of Alabama at Birmingham mentored by eminent Prof. Robert Cerfolio. He has a wide experience in handling all kind of cancer surgeries like radical surgeries, organ preservations, complex reconstructions & surgeries by Minimal Invasive Techniques. His interests lie in Breast Surgeries, Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgeries & Robotic Surgeries. Dr. Ramesh Bishnoi has many National and International Publications and has also shared his Knowledge Internationally. An erudite, Dr. Ramesh Bishnoi has also pursued various courses like Fellowship program for Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (FIAGES) conducted by Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons); Certificate Course in Pain and Palliative Care, conducted by Indian Association of Palliative Care; Ethiskills Course, conducted by Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education. He has also done research in maintenance of complete breast as well as creating a gastrointestinal and colorectal database in department of Surgical Oncology at DR BRA Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital and All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He is also an active member of various medical associations like Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons and European Society of Surgical Oncology. He also played a significant role in setting up the Department of Surgical Oncology at Balaji Action Cancer Hospital, New Delhi.
