Dr. RR Kasliwal, a winner of the prestigious Dr. BC Roy National Award, currently is the Chairman of Clinical and Preventive Cardiology, Heart Institute, Community Outreach and Education at Medanta Medicity in Gurgaon, Haryana. He has more than 30 years of experience in cardiovascular sciences with more than 200 publications, 150+ awards and hundreds of lectures to his credit. He championed the cause of the underprivileged by pioneering the concept of community outreach and took cardiac care to doorsteps of many people. He has guest-edited several books in cardiology and trained many doctors in the nuances of cardiology, both nationally and internationally. Dr. Ravi R Kasliwal’s personality is truly multifaceted and his list of honours makes this evident. His passion, for developing and applying non-invasive techniques for early detection and prevention of coronary artery diseases, is exemplary. He bagged the Lifetime Achievement Award from the President of India in 2008 for his outstanding contribution in the field of Clinical and Preventive Cardiology. He also won the DMA Distinguished Service Award on the 94th Foundation Day of DMA. Before becoming the Chairman of the Clinical and Preventive Cardiology at Medanta, he has been the Director of Cardiology at the Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre in New Delhi, a Senior Cardiologist at the National Heart Institute in New Delhi, and a D.M (Cardiology) and Pool Officer of Cardiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. Dr. RR Kasliwal is the President of the Indian Society of Medical Fitness and the Vice President of the Indian Society of Echocardiography. He is a well-known member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, Association of Physicians of India, Cardiology Society of India, Indian Society of Medical Ultrasound, and the Indian Society of Electro-Cardiology, Indian Society for Heart Research, and the American Society of Echocardiography. He is an honorary member of the Indore Branch of C.S.I. as well.

Ms Parvesh from the CMD Office made everything so organised and simple for my 84 yr old mother right from the moment we got down from the car. The doctor and hospital, both, are excellent at their work. I consulted with Dr. RR Kasliwal because I was facing some heart issues. My angioplasty was done in Uttar Pradesh and I wanted some advice after that only. He is a brilliant cardiologist, very experienced and polite. He explained my symptoms to me in detail. I had a very nice experience. I was suffering from a heart condition and needed a CABG surgery. Dr. Kasliwal is a wonderful doctor. He prescribed a good treatment for me. He is also very cooperative. I had to leave for Hisar due to some personal reasons. Credihealth and staff coordinated to speeden up things for me. They provided my test results early and helped me. The doctor gave me the proper time during my appointment.
