Dr. S Rajasundaram

Dr. S Rajasundaram is a remarkable surgical oncologist. He is currently designated as the Director of the Department of Surgical Oncology. He is regarded as an extremely qualified and compassionate medical expert. Heading the department of oncology, he is highly proficient in managing critical conditions.

Dr. S Rajasundaram has a rich experience of nearly 18 years in his field. He is tremendously capable of performing laparoscopic and traditional cancer surgeries. One of his prime clinical accomplishments is that he successfully conducted more than 15,000 complex surgeries. He firmly believes that early detection of cancer can save lives.

A graduate (MBBS) from Madras Medical College, Dr. S Rajasundaram has been awarded a gold medal. Apart from this, he is a proud receiver of degrees like MS, DNB (General Surgery), and MCh (Surgical Oncology). He is a respectable life member of ASI, ISO, IASO, AROI, ESMO, and OGSSI. Before joining Gleneagles, he served at SIMS Hospital, Chennai.
