Dr. Sachin Bhonsle

Dr. Sachin Bhonsle is a Senior Consultant Joint Replacement and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Fortis Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai, India. He completed MBBS with university gold medal and several distinctions from Nagpur University, India in 1987 and M.S. Orthopaedics from Nagpur University, India 1990. During this course, he gathered extensive trauma experience as a registrar in orthopedics for two years. He has also been a lecturer in orthopedics in an institution of great repute – King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth GS medical college. In addition to teaching graduate and post graduate student, he amassed huge experience in general orthopedics. Dr. Bhonsle then moved to the UK for further training (Cambridge and Oxford deanery) in the field or arthroplasty and arthroscopy. After spending twelve years in the UK he returned to India in 2006 to get attached to a multi-specialty hospital to practice high-end orthopedics. He specializes in doing joint replacements with minimally invasive approach conserving tissues. He has performed over two thousand joint replacements and has got excellent results especially in young patients.
