Dr. Sai Praveen Haranath

Dr. Sai Praveen Haranath is a Consultant - Pulmonology in Apollo Health City, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Dr. Praveen is also part of one of the first Tele-ICU programs in India. He completed MBBS from Madras Medical College, Chennai in 1996, Master of Public Health (MPH) from University of Connecticut Health center in 1999 and FCCP - Pulmonary Medicine from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSE), U.K in 2001. Dr. Praveen is trained in critical care medicine, advanced pulmonary medicine, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound and pleural procedures. After completing his MBBS, he went to the United States where he specialized in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and is American Board Certified in these fields. He was trained at the University of Connecticut, Loyola University, and Oregon Health and Science University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and is the Chairman of the steering committee of the Disaster Response Network and a member of the steering committee of the Occupational and Environmental Diseases Network of this global organization.

After his stint in the US, he returned to India to manage patients with asthma, COPD, bronchitis, allergic lung disease as well as lung cancer and tobacco and smoking addiction. He is a member of American College of Chest Physicians and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM). He is also the recipient of the Humanitarian Award from UCHC and the Governors Community Service Award from the American College of Chest Physicians. He has been involved in multiple presentations and conferences in India and abroad. Some of the services provided by the doctor are Tuberculosis, Bronchoscopy and Sleep Disorder Treatment etc.
