Dr. Samindranath Basak

Dr. Samindranath Basak is a Consultant in the Department of Surgical Oncology. He holds an MS in General Surgery, DNB and a Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, UK. He has over 28 years of medical experience, with expertise in breast cancer surgery, breast conservation surgery, and Latisimus dorsi flap surgery. He also has experience performing colorectal; surgery using laparoscopy. Dr Basak is a life member of the Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Medical Association, AMASI, ABSI, Indian Association of Surgical Oncology, The Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons, and is the Core Committee Member of ASICON.
