About Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Thakur

Dr. S K Thakur is a renowned Gastroenterologist currently practicing at Sitaram Bhartia Institute Of Science & Research in Qutab Institutional Area, Delhi and Sama Hospital in August Kranti Marg, Delhi. He can also be consulted at  Dr. Thakur's Clinic in Defence Colony, Delhi. He completed MBBS from the University of Pune in 1976, MD - Medicine from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune in 1984 and DM - Gastroenterology from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh in 1991. Dr. Thakur excelled throughout his academics and received Gold Medal for standing first while pursuing his MD.  Dr. Thakur has also served in the Indian Army as a Senior Specialist at various posts for 24 years as the Head of Department of Gastroenterology of the prestigious Army Hospital (Referral and Research).
