Dr. Sudhir Kumar

Dr. Sudhir Kumar is a Consultant - Neurology at Apollo Health City, Jubilee hills, Hyderabad. He completed MBBS from Christian Medical College, Vellore (1995), MD Internal Medicine from CMC, Vellore (1998) and DM Neurology from CMC, Vellore (2001). Being an excellent student, Dr. Kumar got First Rank in Second MBBSand Third Rank in Final MBBS. HE has also received the First Certificate of Honour in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology & Community Medicine.He was also awarded J C David Memorial Prize & Gold Medal in Pharmacology. He has also won Dr. Paul w Brand Gold Medal in Orthopaedics and Dr. P. Koshy Prize in Medicine (during Internship). Prior to Apollo Health City, Dr. Sudhir has worked as a Consultant Neurologist / Lecturer at Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Due to his inclination towards academics and research, Dr. Sudhir has contributed to various presentations, journals and papers like Paper journals- S Kumar; Chronic Daily Headache. Physicians Digest 2005; 14(2); 22-30 and S Kumar. Recombinant activated factor VII for acute & intracerebral hemorrhage. Indian journal of critical care medicine 2005; 9; 11-13.  With the special interest in stroke, dementia, and neuro critical care, Dr. Sudhir is a life time member of the Neurological Society of India, Indian Academy of Neurology, International Headache Society, Indian Stroke Association World Stroke Association and American Heart/ Stroke Association.
