Dr. TE Udwadia

A consultant at the department of General Surgery & Laparoscopy Surgery, Dr. TE Udwadia has previously served as the Editor of Indian Journal of Surgery. He is currently the Editor-in-chief of Journal of Minimal Access Surgery. Dr. TE Udwadia has an experience that extends more than a five decades, he is informally regarded as the father of laparoscopic surgery in India. Dr. TE Udwadia’s educational background is MBBS, MS, FCPS, FRCS (Eng.), FRCS (Edin.) FICS (Hon.), FACS, and FAMS. He is the member of professional medical associations and societies like Japan Section, International College of Surgeons; College of Surgeons of Brazil, and many more. Dr. TE Udwadia holds the prestigious positions like Past President at Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India, Past President at Association of Surgeons of India, Past President at International College of Surgeons, Indian Section, Past President at International College of Surgeons, World Body, Founding President at Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons.
