Dr. Vijay Langer

Dr. (Col.) Vijay Langer is a Visiting Consultant in the Department of Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr Vijay has over 28 years of experience serving in the army as a doctor, and 13 years with specialisation in general surgery and plastic surgery. His areas of interest include paediatric cosmetic surgery like cleft lip, cleft palate, reconstructive procedures including microvascular repair, body contouring, breast and genital rejuvenation, and facial rejuvenation. Dr Vijay Langer's medical expertise also includes treating and correcting facial cuts, nerve injuries, brachial plexus injuries, craniofacial defects, congenital anomalies and hand defects. Dr Langer completed his MBBS and MS from AFMC Pune, DNB in General Surgery from New Delhi, MCh in Plastic Surgery from AFMC, and DNB in Plastic Surgery from New Delhi. He further completed his Fellowships from American College of Surgeons, Association of Surgeons of India and Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery from New Delhi. He recently completed his Clinical Fellowship in Body Contouring from Lowa City, USA. Dr Vijay Langer is a member of prestigious societies and associations like  Indian Society for Surgery of the Hand, Indian Society of Peripheral Nerve Surgery and Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery. Dr Langer is a member of Association of Surgeons of India, Association of Plastic Surgeons of India and National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He is currently also sharing his expertise at Fortis La Femme, Greater Kailash, FEHI, Okhla Road, and Madhukar Rainbow Children's Hospital.
