Dr. Vikas Deswal

Dr. Vikas Deswal is an experienced doctor working as a consultant in the Internal Medicine Department of Medanta Hospital. He has a wide experience in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases across different specialties. His interest area includes infectious diseases, HIV, tropical and travel medicine, transplant infections, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Dr. Vikas Deswal’s interest area also includes antimicrobial stewardship, treatment of multidrug-resistant infections and infections in critically ill patients. Dr. Vikas has a vast experience in managing serious infections such as encephalitis, prosthesis, meningitis, implant-related infections, and infective endocarditis.

He completed his MBBS from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2011. Then he pursued his MD in Internal Medicine from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala in 2014. After completing his degrees, he continued his PD fellowship in Internal Medicine from Christian Medical College, Vellore, 2018.

Dr. Vikas Deswal is a member of the Clinical Infectious Disease Society of India (CIDS) and Indian Medical Association. Throughout his medical journey, he has worked at renowned facilities such as Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. Currently, he is providing his services at Medanta- The Medicity, Gurgaon as a consultant.
