Dr. Vinay Bhat

Dr. Vinay Bhat is a Senior Consultant - Surgical Gastroenterology in Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore. A certified HPB and GI Surgeon, Dr. Vinay Bhat completed his MBBS from  St. John’s Medical College Bangalore which is one of the leading medical colleges in the country. Later, he went on to pursue his MS from the same institute for which he received the Dr. Ramamurthy Gold Medal at the national level exit exam. He holds a special interest in pancreatic diseases, IBD and GI oncology and due to his great passion towards GI disease, he underwent super specialty training at the prestigious Asian Institute of Gastroenterology. Prior to Aster CMI Hospital, he was associated with the St. Philomena’s Hospital. Over the 10 years of his experience, Dr. Vinay Bhat gained surgical finesse and academic expertise in advanced laparoscopy, pancreatico-biliary diseases, IBD and GI oncology.
