Dr. Vinay Joshi

Vinay H Joshi is a Consultant in the Department of Paediatrics and Neonatology, at Cloudnine Hospital, Malad. His areas of expertise include paediatric critical care and intensive care, and neonatal intensive care. He has treated and managed newborn infants less than 500 gm weight and has experience with high-frequency ventilation, transport care for infants, ECMO, VAD, and administration of nitric oxide. His areas of interest include management of children with organ transplant of kidney, heart, gut, lung or liver. Dr Vinay H Joshi has managed over 500 high-risk infants, with a 98.2 per cent survival rate, and is credited for establishing a 20 bedded NICU, has handled over 100 transport cases of critically ill infants, and 50 plus babies with surgical problems. He has taken care of over 2000 children post-operation and is trained in providing dialysis, CVVH and CVVHD. Dr Vinay H Joshi holds an MBBS degree, MD in Paediatrics and DM in Neonatology. He also holds Fellowships in Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine from Australia and Canada, Paediatrics and Cardiac Critical Care, and Neonatal and Paediatric Transport Medicine.
