Dr. Vipul Gupta

Dr. Vipul Gupta is Director - Neurointerventional Surgery and Co-director - Stroke Unit in Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon with a primary focus on interventional neuroradiology and endovascular neurosurgery. He was among the first in the country to use a dedicated intracranial stent and 3D-DSA for aneurysm embolization to perform intracranial venous sinus stenting. He has been amongst the rare full-time neuro-interventionists specializing in endovascular interventions for strokes. Before joining Artemis, Dr. Vipul Gupta was the head of Interventional Neuroradiology (Endovascular Neurosurgery) at Max Super Speciality Hospital (Saket) in New Delhi and Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. He has worked as an associate professor of Neuroradiology in AIIMS where he also obtained training in intervention neuro-radiology. Dr. Vipul Gupta is an eminent member of the World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology, Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, where he has been the Convener previously. He is an active member of the Neurological Society of India, Indian Radiology & Imaging Association and Delhi Neurological Association.
