Dr. Yusuf is a Consultant - Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery in Apollo Hospitals, Greams Lane. Dr. M M Yusuf gained his MBBS at Stanley Medical College, Chennai, India. He then went to the United Kingdom, where he underwent Basic and Higher Surgical Training. He further polished his with training in Bristol Heart Institute and King’s College Hospital, London, UK. After completing his specialization, Dr. Yusuf went on to do Fellowship in Minimally invasive and Robotic cardiac Surgery in OLV Hospital, Aalst Belgium. He then returned to work in Chennai, India after 19 years of surgical training and work in the United Kingdom. 

Dr. Yusuf is also very active in various workshops, he was the most endowed faculty member in Minimally Invasive surgery training program International & National and Aortic & Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair surgery workshop. He also makes the most of his expertise in the field of Aortic Aneurysm Surgery, Mitral Repair Surgery, Total Arterial Revascularisation - CABG. He also contributes to various institutes like International Society of Heart Lung Transplant, Indian Association of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and Cardiology Society of India.
