Dr. KP Suresh Kumar

With years of experience, Dr KP Suresh Kumar is the Chief Cardiologist at Kauvery Hospital, Alwarpet, Mylapore, Chennai. He has been practising since 1993 and has a rich experience in non-invasive and invasive Cardiology. Dr. Suresh has performed over 15,000 Coronary Angiograms and 2,500 Cardiac Catheterisations (from neonates to adults). Apart from that, he has also performed more than 4,000 Coronary Angioplasty procedures with stenting, Renal Angioplasty, Carotid Angioplasty, Balloon Mitral Valvotomy, Balloon Pulmonary Valvotomy, PDA/ASD Device Closure and Permanent Pacemaker implantation, with excellent results. He is a specialist in radial artery interventions. Before joining hands with Kauvery Hospital, Dr. KP Suresh Kumar has also offered his services at Fortis Malar Hospital, Chennai. Similarly, he has also worked with different facilities such as Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore; Trichur Heart Hospital and more. After completing his MBBS and MD, he went on to pursue DM (Cardiology) post-doctoral degree through Christian Medical College, Vellore. He has published numerous papers to his credit. Also, he has made presentations at both national and international medical conferences.
