Daksh Mehra
Delhi
Daksh Mehra is a 5 years old child studying in class 1. He often complains of getting sick while going to school. Even when he goes to school, he complains of having the same issue while studying. It was like a daily routine for her parents and teachers to tackle the naughtiness of the child. Once Daksh started murmuring things and tried to convince the teacher about some random story. When he started having convulsions or different body movements, his family was immediately informed.
How did Daksh receive help?
Daksh who was having convulsions at the time of being in school was admitted to the nearby hospital Fortis Vasant Kunj.
Seeing the age and the health of the child, the pediatrician was consulted immediately. The doctor asked for certain things regarding the child to which the parents answered well.
The child, who was going through low body weight and was 5 years old, received all major tests including a regular blood pressure routine, diabetes check, and even a CT scan.
Nothing showed the poor health of the child. However, things were visible while having a look at the health of the child. The child was underweight, and dull along with poor maintenance of physical health.
The pediatrician of Fortis Vasant Kunj admitted the child for two days and asked the parents to take complete care of Daksh.
Daksh, who received medications, was said to be in depression. But the doctors were not sure how to start the medications at such a young age. Therefore, the doctors informed the parents about the medical health of the child and gave them an ultimatum to either lose their child or help their child receive good health and manage good weight. Today, Daksh is 15 years old and receiving his education well. He has developed a sharp mind and is able to perform all mathematical and scientific questions. He is preparing himself for his future while taking regular tuition classes.
