Krisha Bajaj

Delhi

Sometimes going with the flow of life is all that is required at the time. Krisha Bajaj is the daughter of Ankur Bajaj and is only 12 years old. Once, she along with her whole family (including her mother, father, one sister, and one brother) was going for a picnic driving by car. Krisha, who never had any symptoms earlier in her life, all of sudden came to develop froth in her mouth and she fell while sitting in the car in the back seat. Her elder sister noticed her and immediately asked her father to drive towards the hospital for immediate help.

How did Krisha receive help?

  • Krisha, who was admitted to the nearby Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh, received her first aid treatment in the emergency room.

  • The doctor who examined her told the family to admit the child for better health and examination.

  • Within an hour, she was admitted to the hospital and started receiving medications for the same.

  • Krisha, who was unconscious at the time, was taken to a separate operation room where she received her tests including a CT scan, blood pressure check, and ECG- all done within the next hour of admission.

  • Day by day, Krisha started receiving her medical tests and physical examinations. After spending 24 hours while being unconscious, Krisha had her ultrasound done the very next day, regular blood tests, regular blood pressure check, diabetes check, thyroid check, and even EEG.

  • It was EEG which had the delivery of the signals not matching with the standard signals of the brain activities and neurons.

  • The doctors confirmed Krisha that she developed a seizure. Although there were no significant symptoms earlier in her life, Krisha was told to take care of her body and stay away from junk food.

It was only that event that changed the life of the child. Today, Krisha is fighting her disease and maintaining a lifestyle full of happy moments. She goes to her school regularly while her parents take care of her like other children.
