Anchal Jain

Mumbai

Anchal Jain is around 25 years old and has a personality with luxurious facilities because of her only profession of marketing manager at a renowned company. Once she got a panic attack while being in the office and she was taken to the nearby hospital for immediate treatment. During that time, she was told to take care of her body. It was a short panic attack but could turn into a bigger one and can affect her brain activities. Anchal, who saw the death of her mother in recent times, was going through hard times to manage the normal home routine for her father. It was becoming difficult for her to manage life and take care of her father like before.

How did Anchal receive help?

  • Anchal was referred to the psychiatric specialist and was told that the signs resemble psychiatric issues.

  • Once Anchal did not wake up from her sleep. She slept at night around midnight and it became 2 pm the next day when she did not wake up. Her father tried a lot to wake her up but she was like she had not slept for days. After trying for an hour, Anchal woke for a few seconds and went to sleep again. It became 5 pm and she was still sleeping the whole day.

  • Anchal’s father called the doctor immediately and the doctor asked for a hospital stay at Kokilaben Hospital.

  • Although the doctors did not give any intimation at first, they had the father informed of the symptoms of mental health.

  • After spending a week in the hospital, Anchal came to receive the information that she was going through depression and it was acute.

Anchal, who is now taking medicines for her depression, is now pursuing her job with her colleagues informed. She discussed the difficulty of time with her father and the poor management from her side. Although she is all perfect now and is trying to manage her senses, she often finds it difficult to cope with different situations. But, with the support of her father, she is combating everything.
