In-Patient Rooms

Medanta The Medicity has 6 room categories available. Depending on the package, budget, insurance, and need of the patient, one of the following category can be chosen

Multi bed Ward - 3 to 4 beds in a room. There are adequate privacy and dedicated facilities like wardrobe, television, etc.

Twin Sharing Room - 2 beds in the same room. There is a partition in between to ensure privacy. Twin sharing room is allocated to Same-Gender patients Only.

Single Room - A 304 square feet room is architectured to meet the requirements of a single patient. Single rooms have accommodation of an attendant included.

Single Delux Room - These rooms have enough space for mobility. The Single Delux room has everything included in a single room with additional refrigerator, sofa and table.

Super Delux Room - A 750 square feet room on 14th and 15th floor. This room comes a view of Gurgaon City Skyline. In addition to features of Single Delux room, this room has fully stocked refrigerator, complimentary fruit basket, and leather recliner. Meals for the attendant and 3 times a day beverage service will be provided.

Suite - Suite is a 2 room accommodation with attached washrooms. The suite is designed to ensure the privacy of both patient and attendant. Personal butler service is available in addition to the features of the super deluxe room.

Admission Process

After the OPD consultation, if admission is required a Request for Admission (RFA) will be generated by the doctor’s team. RFA contains all the necessary information for the treatment in Medanta Medicity.

If you have availed Credihealth services for consultation, then you can visit the Credihealth Desk on Upper Ground floor. The desk is located near the food court. We will take care of all your requirements from there. For other patients, visit the Admission Desk on UG floor.

Financial counseling will be arranged. If all the necessary documents and formalities are completed, a bed will be allocated. Once the bed is allotted, it will take less than 30 minutes to complete the admission process.

There is an additional process for insurance patients. TPA form will be filled by the doctor’s secretary and shared with executives at Admission Desk. A pre-approval from an insurance company will be required if the cashless admission process is to be availed. Post-pre-approval from the insurance company, bed allotment process will begin.

Discharge Process

The patients are discharged in the morning at 11:00 am in Medanta Medicity. Post-discharge, if the formalities are yet to be completed then the patient can use the room. Up to 8 hours after the discharge is announced, half-day room rent will be charged. If it takes more than 8 hours to complete the formalities, then full day room rent will be charged.

The estimated cost received from the financial counselor has to be cleared in advance before the procedure for surgeries. For insurance patients availing the cashless facility, a pre-approval is required. Interim bill has to be settled on a daily basis. The final bill settlement is done after discharge is announced by the treating doctor.
